How to connect Zoom, Stripe and your calendar

Walkthrough video — coming soon

Scale creates Zoom meetings on your Zoom account, raises invoices on your Stripe account, and writes mediations to your own calendar. None of that is shared infrastructure, so each one has to be connected once before it works.

All three live on the same screen: Profile → Integrations.

Before you begin

You need the Zoom account you actually host mediations from, and the bank details Stripe will ask for during onboarding.

1Connect Stripe

The Stripe card is headed Stripe Integration. Click Connect Stripe Account and complete Stripe's own onboarding. When it's done the button reads Connected.

Invoices are raised on your connected account, so parties pay you directly. The admin fee is settled through the same invoice — see How to set your rates. Nothing can be invoiced until this is connected.

2Connect Zoom

The Zoom card is headed Zoom Integration. Click Connect Zoom and authorise Scale on the Zoom account you want meetings created on. Once connected, the card shows the connected Zoom account's name and email.

Once Zoom is connected, meetings are created in exactly two places: automatically when a case is booked, and from the case page when you ask for one. Nothing fills in a missing link on its own later.

3Connect Google or Outlook Calendar

The calendar card is headed Calendar Integration and offers Google and Outlook. Click Connect Google or Connect Outlook and grant access.

Connecting a calendar does two things. Booked mediations are written to it, and when someone tries to open a date on your Scale schedule, Scale checks that calendar first and warns you if you already have something in the way.

Each provider has a Disconnect link beside it once connected.
